Dr. LaWana Richmond is a program manager and change management expert at UC San Diego and the CEO of Firyali, Inc., which produces the Afrofuturism Lounge and Afrofuturism Dream Tank. A certified Project Management Professional, she holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and degrees in business, information systems, and marketing.
As an Afrofuturist and Research Fellow at the Indigenous Futures Institute, she explores culture, technology, and social justice. Passionate about education access, leadership development, and employee engagement, she serves on multiple advisory boards. Guided by Ubuntu philosophy, she advocates for collective progress and systemic transformation.
Kelli Norwood is an Operations and Project Management Professional with over 15 years of experience.
She holds a degree from DePaul University.
Her extensive experience and high emotional intelligence contribute to her success in executing projects and managing operations effectively.
Daejha Toney is an actress, comedian, model, and community advocate based in San Diego. In 2018, she founded the California's Children with Incarcerated Parents Foundation (CCIP) to support children impacted by parental incarceration. With experience in hospitality and studies at San Diego City College, she balances her professional career with her passion for advocacy. Daejha actively shares her journey on social media, offering insights into her life and work. Guided by her Christian faith, she is dedicated to uplifting her community and driving meaningful change.
